cs:s and multi tasking sorta

I'm downloading some things with µtorrent but I think i wanna squeeze in some cs:s. How much bandwidth will I need assuming that I have enough system resources otherwise?

I'm probably only getting about 120 KB/s down (lack of seeds/peers) and limiting it at 40 KB/s up right now. I'm on a typical cable connection (probably max 650 KB/s down, 65 KB/s up)
 
can your router prioritize traffic? qos? i tried it a bit and could only get my ping down to 60-100😛 not good enough since i ussually get single digit to 20 ping😛 so i stopped trying and just stopped torrent during game😛
