this happens on both mine (duron750,128mb ram,radeon 64, winxp) and my bros (old slot a athlon 800, 256mb ram, viper2, win98) computers .... counterstrike randomly freezes up 
also, sometimes when i press ESC to change servers or whatever and press resume or actually do change server it switches back to windows and cs becomes a small black window in the top corner of my desktop. i have to end task to get anything to work again after that.
plz help anyone?
