Not sure if this is a hardware or a software problem but I'll try the hardware forum first.
I don't see how hl.exe can be using that much memory. Most computers didn't have that much RAM when Half-Life came out. I've also noticed that CS (and any other HL mod) has been quite unstable recently. I can't play for much more than 30min before it crashes (and this is in Win2K). I think it may be crashing because it is running out of memory. Does anyone have any ideas? Does this sound like defective hardware or a software issue? Thanks.
