Long story short, from my experience(6 whopping matches), most people you end up playing with in competitive matches are jerks. I think more than a few of us would like some friends to pair up with for a more enjoyable experience. I would like to invite anyone, regardless of skill level, to add me if they are looking for the same.

You are playing competitive mode already? Stick to the regular mode.

The best tip is to watch warowl's CSGO youtube videos.

Add me Steam name is CeramicDragon

You can only learn so much from videos. You need to play it to actually learn. Btw, I have 100+ hours in GO. If that's not enough to slip into comp, then I have no desire to play it.

100 hours is generally a decent point to start considering comp at least. I have about 480 hours right now, I don't play much comp though as I dont have a decent group to play with and solo queuing is rough.

Man I miss the old days of finding a scrim in mIRC.

I played casual CS:GO for the first time in a years and although it took a few rounds, I got back my muscle memory and dominated.

I have somewhere between 100-200 in GO and roughly 600 in Source. My second ever comp match I was high fragger on the team getting called a Smurf. 4th time I played our team was getting owned, they tried to kick me three times. I was in the middle frag wise. I said eff it after that and I made my mind up to only play with friends, or at least one friend. Even if you make it known that you might not know the map perfectly, jerks will still be jerks.

I used to clock in over 400 hours back when I played Combat Arms in 2008-2010. I've long since quit most online gaming, though I play an occasional game maybe once a couple weeks or so.

Still pretty new at CS:GO,coming from BC2+BF3 the game and its gunplay is quite different.Found my calling and i do extremely well i think using the P250 pistol.I was using like the P90 and i guess bullet spread is insane and i just couldn't get anyone but at long ranges i constantly got my kills using that P250.

I found out quickly you want as much MSAA as can be provided, this case 8x msaa for my gtx970 but also a lower resolution makes enemies and objects bigger and more visible considering most weapons don't have zoom or scopes....

I switch my panels between a 26'' 720p t.v and a 19'' 1366x768 panel as my wife and me take turns with each,on the 19'' panel would resolutions like 1280x720 help much more with visibility in CS:GO?I know DSR and higher resolutions on the smaller screen just enable major input lag and objects become insanely to small......
