To all those that are needing CS help. I run Counter-Server (http://server.counter-strike.net) and will be willing to help anyone with any help in regards to CS if I'm able to. I can't answer all questions, as I don't have all the answers, but I'll do the best I can. I hope that I can be your last resource for your problems so that if you run into issues, we can solve them together. Not saying I'm the best or whatnot, but I've been around too long to not have seen most of the problems people encounter by now. I'm more server oriented in my knowledge, but I'm also client savvy. Hope you folks can use a helping hand. :)

Upgraded maps de_dust de_cbble, de_aztec, cs_siege, and cs_italy

Yea I seen that extension .ace on the end of the file. I have winace so it shouldnt be a problem! :) I just hope the maps work ok.

BTW..Cool website you have! Im currently trying to find a good HUD program if you come accross one. I D/L one awhile back but seemed chessy compared to a old Tribes one I use to run. :) I D/L a bot pack last night; Im going to work on it this week. My brothers come over sometimes and its not much fun to play a lan game with only 3 people againest one another. Unless we have alot more over. So Im going to see if I can add bots so we can just play agains bots. Should be more fun to play that way.

any chance of procedure for enabling 512*512 models? i believe the dont get enabled by default!

Akaz, gl_max_size is what you want to check from the console in game - I did nothing and default was 512- I did notice about 30fps drop however.
p3 700@980, 256mb ram, radeon32 DDR
but 70-80 fps is fine for me.

if it is not 512 then from the console just enter gl_max_size 512
There is a BIG difference with 512 textures
