CS and Stupid Shields

This dude had a shield and it was impossible to hit him, even when he wasn't blocking himself with the shield. I guess it's some new kind of cheat or something. Even with the Machine Gun, I sprayed and sprayed everywhere and nothing. This guy killed my multiple times with knives guns while I was shooting him repeatedly, this is a new low in the game. Why do people need to be stupid and cheat, what is there to gain. They aren't real gamers, they're just there to popular because of some defect they have in their head. Idiots - what's the fun in cheating, what's the fun in playing a game when there is no challenge. People who play games other than for that reason aren't real gamers, they are social gamers - gamers that suck and want to be accepted and popular and cool. They are fake and they suck. Instead of doing something better like, actually getting better, they cheat. It boggles my mind. There should be a new type of disorder called Cheating Disorder.
 
There are a number of exploits with the new sheild though I'm not sure exactly what they are - do you have the latest version of CS?

I've actually given up since 1.6 came out, firstly I don't like the new look and feel of the UI, the new smoke grenades cause my machine to lag terribly, they have wrecked my favourite map (Aztec) with a daft rain effect which again causes the game to stutter really badly and all in all I just feel that its now well past its best before date.

At least one good thing has come out of 1.6.....I've been shown the light and am now enjoying my online gaming time more than ever with Warcraft 3 😀

 
Where you playing with Leo or Taurus. I think they should up the graphics and they should correct some graphical problems. They should up the physics. But then again thats condition zero. Condition Zero looks like they're using the same crappy Q2 engine with better textures. A little more polygons and new levels and concepts. From what I've seen they're still stuck in DX7, I havent seen a shader effect yet.

I hate the jumping, the shields unbalance the game too much, I don't know who's idea was it but no. All weapons on CT should have a counter part on T.
 
Gave up on CS long time ago. Now online gaming is mostly rtcw et and america's army. With the ocassional flight sim.

I used to play a lot of CS, but have not played it in at least a year, I think I quit playing it well before 1.5 came out. Too many better team based shooters out there right now with much better, realistic wepon physics.

I like the shields, but it's when people exploit the shield. There's an exploit where people can shoot and still be fully protected. The only "solution" is to go to a server with active Admins with power to boot/ban these exploiters.

Servers like my clans (my sig) 😉

Shrug, hope they fix it soon as it is RETARDED. I ran across some lame ass site that has all these hacks for CS while reading about the HL2 source leak dealy.

Anyhow, thats how you do it, it is rediculously easy, Almost everytime I play CS now someone is doing it so I've just stopped playing CS until it is fixed.
 
Hint if you see somebody with a shield.....Run!!! for real until you can either come up behind them or get a good nade toss on them as they round a corner. also knife works wonders on a shield user if you rush them.
