just got this lcd today and just now tried to play cs with it... the thing is cs comes up in a little window in the middle of the screen instead of being streached to the sides. auto-adujust is locked because i'm using digital input. a friend that has the same lcd says its a setting in my video card, gf4 ti4600, but dosen't know how to change it on nvidia cards...

anyone?

Its probably a driver issue, install newest drivers or try different drivers. Also CS doesn't run at your native res. so that may be a problem also.

Make sure you don't have other windows or programs open when playing CS, since that can affect the window size as well.

Oh and for some apparent reason CS doesn't like AA and anistropic filtering.....since when i have everything turned up on my ATI 9700 it gives me banding where the anistropic should be filtering. Weird stuff like that.

<---plays CS 5+ hours a day.....

res: 800x600
sens: down to 2.7...and going lower.

cs can run at 1280x1024

the pc has a fresh install so it's all new drivers

edit i guess it dosen't, but that shouldn't make a differnece (cs running in the native res... all it would do is make the picture crappy.. right?)

sens: 1 :) get yourself a huge mousepad from microcenter.com this thing is like 2' x 1.5'

It runs at 1280x 1024?.....i never knew that!!!....I've been lied to all these years.

But anyways, I try and play at a lower res. if helps accuracy. And it makes the text larger. I get occasional resizing problems....but nothing permanent. Usually a restart fixes it. ATI had a weird open gl delay glitch they recently fixed that cause all sorts of problems...but it shouldn't affect you....

Try messing with the resolutions and see if that affects anything, including your desktop resolutions.

The STEAM version of CS 1.6 can run at 1280x1024, not CS 1.5.

In the Control Panel, under Display Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> Displays -> FPD (Flat Panel Display), there should be an option to 'Scale Display to Panel Size' or something similar. That needs to be enabled.
