CS 1315 (JAVA) is killing me

I consider myself a smart person. I get A's in everything including my math classes. But my brain just does not do programming very well. I have A's on all of my assignments and a B average on my exams, but I feel like I know very little of what is going on. I understand most technical stuff, but for some reason when it comes to Java or any other language, I struggle big time. (Well SQL is easy lol). I have a final coming on Tuesday and studied half the day yesterday for it and up until now today. I still feel like I am only half way through studying and have 2 other finals on the same day. Bah humbug! Anybody else feel this way about programming?

Got a 61 on the second exam, so um yeah the first part of the class was easy. Object oriented programming isnt

I'm the opposite, programming just seems to make so much sense to me. The logic of it all, it just makes so much sense!

Well programming is all about practice.
I'm tutoring a first year CS course this term, and you can tell the stronger students from the weaker ones right away.
The best way to study for an exam of this type is to practice doing OO problems. Look at "case studies" as we call them. Try to implement them. That's the best way to study for a course like this.
