cs 1.6

hey ppl,

i havent played cs since the summer and when i tried to start up steam to play 1.6, all it does is it says "Updating Steam," and after a while it says, "Fatal Error; Connection Reset, Winsock 10054". Is there anyway to fix this so I can play 1.6?

delete CS...and buy a real game.

restart your computer, try again. reinstall, try again. there aren't many options to fixing it other than keep trying.

I've always been fond of the Thiel CS1.6. They'd make a nice 5 speaker multichannel audio system.

Steam recognizes the CD key from the standalone CS version that I got with my old video card as a Half Life Platinum Pack key. It lets me register but says the key is invalid a little later when I try to play a game.

So I can't play CS anymore. POS
