The Climb brings alive the excitement and thrill of rock climbing in incredible virtual reality. Players will scale new heights and explore stunning environments in a new gaming experience developed exclusively for VR, using the power of CRYENGINE™.
Crytek announced another project for the head-mounted display - The Climb and created for the Oculus Rift. You play the role of a climber who conquers the various peaks. The player looks at the world through the eyes of the protagonist. Driving can be a hero hands and eyes to determine where he should jump. Game mechanics is built around the need to explore the environment in search of the most secure route. Also, it is necessary to periodically take breaks to rub his hands with chalk. As the hero sweats eventually weakened his grip. The authors promise that the game will be a variety of regions with three sets of tests for each. The tests vary from simple to complex.
In The Climb has a single player campaign and online leader-boards, where virtual climbers can showcase their times on who can ascend to top of the mountain quicker.
