I didn't mean the actuall divider, I meant the faster memory speed. I know dividers don't lower performance. With your timings lower and memory frequency just a bit lower, and higher fsb, you were bound to get a higher score. I was talking about the people with an fsb of around 250 and a memory speed of around 200, meaning since my mem was faster my score was higher. But then judging by your 2.5-2-2-8 beating me, I might try that without a divider, my mem doesnt need it.

My memory is running slower than you too.;):D

1. Processor slower
2. Divider
3. Slower mem

How do you account for my higher score?

Ah you answered it. latency.

Duvie
I am running crystal mark, CPUZ, internet explorer, mspaint, and prime95 to test it and its stable, not to mention quake3 etc and running fine all at the same time.

OK...Jus wondering cause you have been climbing so fast and I heard no mention of stability....I takes me weeks to go about 100mhz in my stability testing...I guess diferent strokes for different folks...

Also I have still yet to see a BSOD on thios machine...

Even at 2.66ghz it did every test I threw at it..every benchmark, encoding, FH (limited) superpi, etc...yet it failed prime pretty quick....

Ok, I'll update the scores as soon as possible, right now I am building a new PC...I'm quite busy...sorry
Godsmack74: I can't see your pics from Techwarelabs....

I hope all of you who are taking part in this comp run Prime95 blend test stable for at least 6 hours. If your System can't pass it succesfully, please, be honest, tell me and I'll quit your score...I will wait till you post a Prime95 stable CrystalMark score. We have to be honest, please.

yeah i use sp2004, the only problem with that is its fixed to your computer date, if you play with the time (or reset the bios thus resetting the clock) while its running the counter will change

Duvie,

No Im not joking. That was just showing both instances running on both cpu's at once, Its been 6 hours of prime 95 and its still running, and like I said I can have quake 3, internet explorer, AIM, Prime95, and crystal mark going at the same time. How much more stable do you want?

Everyone has different stability testing ideas... Have you ran 2 instances of the Prime95 torture test (or SP2004) for over 6 hours without failing?

Personally, I go for 24 hours of testing before I call my OC stable.... ;)

I only go 6hrs but with 3dmark01 looping at the same time. Case get's nice and hot this way as might not do with only prime alone, you are more prone to find errors this way. Also it's a time saver. Like running instead of walking to get in shape:p

Well truthfully, heres what I do:

Ran two instances on prime 95 assigned each an affinity to a different core
Run AIM
Run Internet Explorer
RUn Mspaint
Run Quake 3 windowed
Run all of that for 6 hours (playing quake 3 intermittently but leaving it on)

Nothing wrong with that.... :) I used to run one instance of Prime95 while running Unreal Tournament (Original) set in spectator mode with 16 bots and a 999 frag limit.... More interesting to watch. :)

I have just updated the scores!!
Have a nice day!
Personally I like the rigurous stability testing methods that Duvie applies to his system in order to sentence that it's stable.
I will only consider a system to be stable (rock-solid) if it passes succesfully more than 24hours in Prime95 blend test.
Other stability tests are not as demanding and reliable as Prime95 is.

SP2004 IS the Prime95 torture test code....

SP2004 uses a redesigned user interface that calls Version 23 Prime95's torture test code. This should provide the same results as Prime95, just displayed in a different manner.

You are of course correct.. blend is best thrashing both ram and CPU to the MAX and 24 hours is best. More time is always better.

Way to stay on top of a thread BTW:)

zebo, what is your latency anyway, like in everest? or how do you figure it?

edit- and Madmaxx, yes, very nice job keeping your thread rolling.

Importance IMO in order is CAS/Trp/Trcd, well CMD is first but you know what I mean.:)

UTT can do 2-2-2-8-1T up to 270Mhz
I refuse to buy that high volts memory though... this is ballistix with only 2.7V
