hi

im having trouble with the game port on this card and need some advice.

im using win2k pro , when i try and add a gamepad in the control panel/gaming options window i get the prompt

"your gameport or gameport drivers are not properly configured.
please consult the device manager"

in the device manager i have the following listed under sound ,video and game controllers

-audio codecs
-crystal soundfusion(cs)4281 wdm audio
-legacy audio drivers
-legacy video capture devices
-media control devices

there doesnt seem to be any mention of a game port.
there are no conflicts at all on my machine.
i have tested the gamepad in another pc running win2k server and a different sound card and i have no problems.

AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

any help mucho appreciated
