My company currently uses Crystal Enterprise to schedule reports for printing/exporting/email etc. It works pretty well, but is waaaay too much software for what we use it for. That and the $7000 yearly maintenance fee has me looking for a cheaper, simpler alternative.

We do not require multiple report servers, or anything enterprise-class. We need something that will allow the scheduling of Crystal 9 reports, emailing/exporting them. I figure I can buy myself a nice new machine plus the software for less than 1 year's maintenance fee if things work out.

Many thanks.

.NET has built-in Crystal Report support. A .NET developer could easily build a basic utility to generate the report, then export/email it to whomever you want.

This I know, but we don't do much in-house programming, and need to purchase something unfortunately. I'm sure I could do it, but I'm just not given any time whatsoever to get into programming anymore :(
