IIRC correctly, both bottles I attempted to drink in my life came under extreme pressure and flew out of my hand onto the floor and I really didn't get much of a taste...

anyone remember?

I do. It tastes just like regular Pepsi. It just doesn't have the coloring in it.

I really liked Crystal Pepsi, but unfortunately it didn't catch on. :(

It didn't taste just like regular pepsi. It tasted like a flatter version of Pepsi + Diet Pepsi (the sweetener didn't taste as sugary as regular Pepsi.)

They both had the same exact flavor profile. Only difference was coloring.

They tasted the same for me, it was just strange having a cola taste and lookin at clear liquid in the bottle expecting it to be dark in color.

Yeah, they had some problems with the carbonation of that stuff. From what I understand, it was a more dense formula, so in order to keep it from tasting flat, they had to add more carbonation pressure. The result was caps popping off when the drink was opened at room temperature.

That reminds me of the coke floats that Mcdonalds used to sell. If you got one in the store in a glass cup you were fine, but if you got one to go the foam would build up underneath the near sealed plastic to-go lid. As soon as you put a straw through the top, it'd burst all over you. Happened to me twice.
