hi guys .. recently my videocard fan burnt out on my TI4200 and i am looking for a replacement fan .. some of my friends say this vga cooler is good .. but my brother insists on me buying a Passive cooing for my videocard .. any recommendations?! if thats how u spell it ...
 
well i was looking at the thermaltake passive cooling solutions .. but they go for like $30+ and the silverorb goes for $10 max ...
 
when i was looking at the Vantec Iceberg, they compared it to the Orb (there the same exact design)

of course, i was looking at the Iceberg for Northbridge chipset purposes, but never the less, in the review the orb beat out the Iceberg by 3 degrees (celsius), i think the card they used it on only reached 36 degrees


so yes, it is an ok cooler
 
nice .... thats good to know .. but in my opinion ... i think my brother is retarded ... why would i buy a passive cooling if my videocard is about 6yrs old .. thats why i dont understand my brothers thinking .. i think for my videocard i should get the Crystal orb compared to the passive cooling ...
