Crysis Warhead engine

Warhead is based on optimized version of Cryengine 2 nothing more, unless they downgrade visuals there is no chance of running Warhead @ high/very high on a normal gamer pc. Crysis simply uses too many shaders which will naturally taxes the system performance- no bit of optimization can make any real difference, it is definitely a GPU limited game.
