I just OCed my Leadtek 8800GTS 640MB for the first time with Rivatuner 2.05
from
513 -> 630 Core
1188 -> 1458 Shader
792 -> 945 Mem
I then played the Crysis Beta a little bit.
My fps went from ~30 to ~35 after this which is pretty cool and the temps never exceeded 73°C for the core and 52°C ambient.
The reported temps seem pretty low for such an OC and demanding game.
Should I try higher or just raise the shader clock more?
And what is a normal and safe Core temp? I thought the 8800 were a lot hotter?
