Man I didn't even need this graph. I could just TELL that on version 1.2 I was getting three more FPS than on 1.0. The two experiences were incomparable!

Yeah in XP you can play it with 4xAA 16XAF 1920x1200 Max detail 60fps .

Quite a useless 'performance' patch 1.1 was.

That's a 10% improvement at the high res, fairly significant IF the graphics engine was already optimized reasonably well.

Provided I use low shadows, the combination of the 1.2 patch and new nVidia drivers allows me to run the game at 1600x1200 with 4xAA.

Of course, exactly like with Far Cry - Yearli *told* us it would take over a year to fully patch it - especially to take advantage of Vista 64 DX10 and multi-core

i am ONLY be buying the full version of Crysis to benchmark it - if they kept updating th e demo, i wouldn't bother yet .. i won't play it till GT200 .. it should run really well then

What are you talking about?

they took 2 years to fully optimize FarCry ... and Crysis has only been out since November '07 - 5 months.
- this coming November it will be mostly optimized for everything and you will see +15% FPS improvement just by playing it on Vista 64 .. then .. not now
