I used play Crysis on my 22" widescreen LCD at 1680x1050. No problems.

Today, I bought a new monitor. It is a Samsung 2493HM 24" widescreen. I have installed newest drivers from Samsung website. Monitor works great all games I've tried, except Crysis. The resolution options do not list 1920x1200. In fact, I no longer have the option of 1680x1050 either. The highest it goes is something like 1600x1024.

I only have this problem so far in Crysis. No other games. Anybody have any suggestions? My other specs are E8500, 9800GTX, 4gb PC8500 DDR2.

uninstall crysis, delete the data directory for crysis and any leftover files. then reinstall crysis...

Err, can you set the desktop resolution to 1920x1200?

Yes, my desktop resolution is at 1920x1200. And the other games I've tried give me the option of that resolution also.

I'll try your suggestion next, taltamir.

just delete the crysis directory in your user folder. Note, backup your saved games first.

Well, I got it to work. The scroll button to the right of the resolution list wasn't working for some reason. It is now after my second re-install. Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
