Crysis mods on Steam help

Trying to play some mods for Crysis on Steam. Installed to steamapps/common/crysis/mods. From the main menu when I click load it tells me the game needs to restart. So it closes to desktop and never restarts. Its this way for like 5-6 different ones I really want to try out. WTF am I doing wrong?

I only have one mod loaded, Casus Belli, and the mods directory is under the "Crysis Wars" directory. Looks like that is where the Mechwarrior mod installs too.
