has anyone while playing crysis warhead ever experienced issues? This is the issue im having.

While I am getting shot and the blood hits the screen its a funny color Red and some orange and when i get to close to a grenade my screen goes blue. It just started on

also when i open the Crysis Console by pressing ` its Rotating with some funny colors. blue, orange, red colors. Im not sure if its just the map im on since it just started or my game is screwed.

Legal copy and im running a HIS 4850 512MB Turbo, 650 Clock, 2ghz memory clock. I have tryed all my games and this is the only game doing it. The temps are under 60c full load

Might just be they went a little to "turbo" with the card. I'd try downclocking to stock 4850 speeds to see how that goes.

yeah im gonna try another one. I think its my fault anyways cause i tryed to overclock it with the auto tune feature in the AMD/ATI CCC and it set it at 690/1200 and hasnt ran right since.

im not gonna mess with overclocking again since i have no clue what im doing plus it just cost me days of playing. Next time install and leave as is.

Overclocking when you don't know what you're doing is not a good idea. Definitely read up into it more before you try it again if you decide to. That said, it isn't likely that your own overclocking attempts damaged the card. Send it back to Newegg and get a new one.

ok heres an update come to find out its a problem with the game if u dont have the patches installed. from what they said on the incrysis forums not everyone has the problems but there are others that had/have the same problem.

I installed all the patches and ive noticed an increase in how my game runs and i havent had an issue at all today. played for about 3 hours and even beat the game.

It's probably a heat issue, when it runs cooler it will be ok (lower clockspeed= it'll run a fraction cooler). You can a) send it back for a replacement b) take the heatsink off, clean up the factory thermal paste and apply some new stuff (artic silver or something) c) buy a 3rd party new heatsink to install. Alternatively, just put an extra fan in your case blowing on the card, may improve what your experiencing.
