chicken behavior is the most important aspect of ANY game. everyone knows this :p

i'm sure at every marine boot camp they practice the circle straff to perfection;)

I got one minute into the video... The gun's blazing, shit's blowing up everywhere, but the chickens just keep walking around doing their thing completely oblivious to the carnage, noise, and destruction until they're directly shot. That's realistic?

that does it! if the chicken's behavior isn't realistic, the game is epic FAIL.

I was just thinking how bad company 2 looks amazing with all of its particle effects and exploding buildings -- but i forgot crysis had the same stuff back in the day... ofc it's a bit cheaper to run both games on high detail now-a-days too

Yea, BC2 looks amazing. They did a good job. Honestly, even the crytek developers on CryMod.com have openly said they are impressed with the Engine (but at the same time have discussed how CryEngine can do everything it does). Now that other engines are beginning to catch up to CryEngine2, I can't wait to see what CryEngine3 does to the market again. It's supposed to be much more efficient, with better lighting, etc. That, coupled with hardware needed to run it become more financially accessible, might make things very interesting.
