Crysis: Get hostage, take out tanks, then what

My objectives didn't update anymore after taking out the two tanks.

I'm lost. Was I supposed to be listening intently to what the lady was saying?

Dude, just load a save and listen to the dialog. Or look up a walkthrough. Or give more details about where you are in the game.

There is a bug in the game, you have to go to the building to the right (on the map) before you free the chick.
That is the NK HQ and it will allow you to move on afterwards.

restart the level. I know that everybody says to go to the Town Hall before the school, but I tried that a few times after I beat the game first on Normal, and it bugged and wouldn't advance the objectives. so, I did it like the first time, and went to the green dots in order, school before town hall, and it worked.

There's a bug in the game, but you don't have to restart the level or anything. If you look at the map you'll notice that:

The ocean is to the north, you entered the base from the west side, there is an exit to the base on the east side.

Exit via the east side, go a short distance and you'll find a river/stream. Follow this upstream, you'll immediately encounter a waterfall, keep on going upstream, following the river, taking out bad guys, and after a long while you'll enter a cave and the game will go back to normal.

hm not working. I restarted all over from the beginning of this level back at the kpa camp that is all dead.

I can't believe this was released with bugs like this.

Did you do this? You have to get to the waterfall.....It's not as easy to find as you would think but it's there.....unless I'm missing something.

game has some very unique bugs, I was on the level where you have go to go on the deck of the ship and you need a gun that's in the bottom of the ship, but once you go onto the deck you can no longer enter back into the ship. WHY did it let me exit the ship onto the deck without the gun if i needed it? I reloaded and tried again and was able to do this 4 times in a row. I had an issues at the same spot you did too.

IIRC, you're instructed to use the flight deck elevator. 3 or 4 guys run to one side of the deck, you're supposed to follow them.

Yeah, this is what I did when I got the bug. The waterfall isn't THAT big, which is what I had in my mind when I went searching for one. But yeah, it is there. The river isn't much of a river either. More like a medium stream. And sometimes my game would crash before reaching the cave. Ugg.

well I wanted to do it the 'right' way but it wouldnt let me so I went to the cave.

on my way back down now and what is the deal with the constant buzzing of the helicopter that can't even see me? I guess we are forced to shoot it down rrr. I sneak under bushes and cloak and it still is always overhead.

this part's after that, when most of the deck it on fire. The previous sections objective was to find the TAC gun but I followed the arrow and ended up on the deck with no TAC gun and I couldn't find a way to go back down in the ship. Since the objective said to get the gun I'm guessing this a bug, it shouldn't have let me out on the deck without the gun otherwise.

If it does that sucks

Just hit this bug. God damn that's annoying. I was even going upstream taking out patrols hoping it'd reset an objective but I stopped because I didn't want to screw anything up further.
