Crysis demo delayed again? Just got an e-mail from EA Store

Is that what this means? There must be 10x the bugs they figured moving the demo from September 26 to November 14. The game still says November 13 though so keep your fingers crossed. I won't be surprised to see a few patches after release the way this is going.


 
No. The demo will be out October 26th, 100%. With the single player component as well as the SDK editing program(s) free of charge. The game comes out November 19th, and I have no idea WTF they (EA) think they are talking about.

Take it from me, someone whos been reading up on Crysis for the past 1-2 years 😉

After playing the MP demo for a few weeks I can say, even in version 1.0 the game hardly had any major bugs. I was amazed at the quality of the beta. I would have taken that to be the final game and would have been extremely happy. But they've already updated the game 3 times with patches (for the beta, so they'll be implemented before Crysis is gold), and they have a very large team working very hard to get the kinks fixed. There's hardly any IMO.
 
The e-mail has been confirmed at the InCrysis forum also so I'm not the only one. Of course I hope you're right and it won't be delayed. Maybe a mistake at EA.
 
Its funny because nothing official has been released. It can be delayed no matter how much anyone reads about it. I dont understand the hostility heh.

Crytek has promised the community in video/text interviews that the push back date to Oct 26th was final. But if EA has something they haven't officially confirmed themselves, I'd like to read it.
 
I just checked the official beta forums (if you do not have beta, you will not be able to access the site), the Crytek representative: Cry-Alex has debunked this issue. It was an EA error.

That's good to hear. Definitely looking forward to playing it on Friday. So I wonder if EA link is still going to get it 24 hours early? Did someone just hit the wrong button? Hopefully it's still on for Thursday for preorders.
 
I bet they hate the fact that the video card market is terrible right now. Come on AMD/ATI, please, for the love of God, give us some competition!
