Crysis Demo Bench @ Tweaktown

Shame they only tested in Winxp / Directx 9 with settings on high.
Would have loved some directx 10 numbers to compare with.

Anyway, from what ive seen in other forums, you can pretty much turn on all the directx 10 features in directx 9 anyway with a little editing of the files in the CVarGroups folder.

So those who arent getting the performance they want from the game shouldnt worry, theres a ton of tweaking that can be done.

We did it all b4 when Far Cry and Doom3 were first released.

I ran the demo with my 1950pro AGP in high, xp and everything is perfect, I think Far Cry had more problem then Crysis

What resolution? My 1950xt couldn't do high at 1680x1050, I had to go medium with no aa/af.

I'm also running a AGP 1950pro and at 1680x1050 medium settings no aa/af and doing 20fps avg. so i'm gonna have to call BS on that one.

I don't think he ran it at a high resolution at all. I played 1680x1050 with all medium and 4X AA and got about 25FPS average. Played pretty decent though. I have a X1900XT and 3.2GHz Core 2 Duo.
