crysis bug?

I sometimes have this wierd thing happen.

I start moving in a direction that I may or may not have pushed and have no control over stopping sometimes.

This also is akin to not being able to select a suit mode. It gets stuck on the circle with one mode highlighted but not selected, but then it may select it several seconds later.

I just got killed because I could not move / do what I wanted so I just walked into a wall while everyone shot at my back.

found another annoying and hurtful to gameplay bug...there's a kpa beret guy upstairs in HQ in hostage freeing level that you can't kill....

I noticed really bad key lag on the first level of the game. I restarted my computer (it had been on for a while), and didn't notice it again. I'm half way through the game now and things run pretty smooth (albeit on medium/low settings).

I have noticed sound effects lag...5 sec+ for cries of pain to happen, and the cut scenes sometimes sound lag or one side of the conversation is not heard or partial conversation only heard.

I don't know if the moving without me wanting to is lag unless it is VERY long lag.

Sometimes the voices overlap so you can't understand what they are saying.

I did not run into any of those issues... are you sure the sticking keystroke is limited to Crysis only? Are you playing at settings within reason for your hardware?

So a joke at my expense...

I've seen this in a few games before. Often it's fixed just by hitting and releasing whatever direction you are stuck in. This one time though (can't remember the game) I'm stuck running in some direction. I'm cursing, key-clicking, restarting, rebooting, cursing more, looking for patches and all that and finally I look over and see my unused joystick just happens to be leaning off in the direction I'm running. A little wiggle confirms and I disable the joystick control in the game's menu and it's all good.

So much wasted cursing but at least I got to chuckle at myself in the end.
