Crysis and multiplayer,does it suck that bad?

Got Crysis 3 today,i figured before i enjoy the fruits of the single player campaign i would try some multiplayer and get my gpu benched at least you know. It's a graveyard,one North American server pretty much sitting at 16/16 constantly.

Crysis 2 multiplayer got shut down,Gamespy pretty much ended that.Had one hell of a short life span,i did play it when i had a chance when it was new and it was ok but i didn't care for the game.

Is multiplayer that horrible in Crysis 3?It's not even 2 years old ffs.Even old COD games like the first Black Ops have more players and god only knows how much pc gamers hate the hell out of that series.

Luckily i bought the game for singleplayer,i heard its great and its a fantastic way to bench my rig as well.But how and why multiplayer is so dreadfully dead is a mystery to me.Could anyone enlighten me on this situation please?

That kinda tells you all. Even if it were really good, nobody plays it, so it doesn't matter.

I had to check and make sure the game was updated,yeah i didn't expect much but how older COD games have a booming population in comparison blows my mind.

I thought a EMP or nuclear fallout took out the servers and a few are left,its a graphical milestone in pc gaming and the damn multiplayer is dead.I thought maybe something technical is to blame?

I bought it for singleplayer but i like playing with all aspects of a game i buy.I was just a bit confused you know.

Well now i know why the game is dead,2 lobbies and i join one to find myself a constant victim of spawn kills,finding myself firing blanks at enemies who simply take zero damage to health or even amor.You even watch the killcams and there is simply no damage of any kind being made to whom you shoot.Half the kills happen in 2.4 microseconds,they mind as well be 1 shot kills.

Big issue i read up on was issues with hacks,no anti-hack measures.Guess that could kill any game.

Yea I played both very early on, and even MP betas. Lot of fun, but yea hacks were out pretty much day 1. Like hacks that a guy could press a button and frag everyone on the server instantly, seriously. People running around cloaked 24/7 while firing guns, god mode, just stupid to even try to play against such things.

Found it kind of funny not even 5 minutes later,like pretty much the entire lobby disappeared out of the North American servers lol.Do these people region hop all over and do this?Or did my presence scare them off or something?As if reporting would do anything meaningful?

A game this dead,12 people simply don't get bored at the same time in under 5 minutes and decide to screw off lol.At the time i was logged in,there was only 2 servers populated.^_^
