Crysis 3 low fps

Ok so I have played every other Crysis game on just about max graphics as well as BF3. But for some odd reason whenever I go into campaign my FPS hits about 7. I turned everything down to low and what not but nothing changed. I was told to switch to Directx 10 from a friend and 9 from another, but there is no option in game( like they said to) there.
Here are my specs:

Installing right now. thanks

Also I am starting up directly from origin. is this a problem?

Nope, not a problem. Is it even possible to open without using Origin? I haven't tried.

Try the new drivers and see if it helps. What is the screen resolution you're using?

Well My laptop has 1600 x 900 But I am playing on my Monitor at 1920 x 1080.
Tried seeing if there was any strain by running on 1080p instead of 720p. I had a problem with BF3 going down to like high/med, but just got a cooling pad and it helped the comp run 1080 (ultra/high without a problem. With Crysis there was only a difference of 1-2 fps. so no real difference whether on 720 or 1080.

will check how Crysis in about an hour and get back.

After looking at some benchmarks, I think the best you'll do is 30-32 FPS @ 1366x768 with medium settings. Higher resolutions are going to tank your framerates with that 650M. It's just a really demanding game.

Yeah I realized. but that is much better than 6 FPS. And I want to finish the story line.

Alright just tested it out and runs great, Thanks for the help!

Yeah, the outdated drivers were your main issue 🙂

Future-wise, you need a better graphics card to run the game better than you're getting now. Your CPU and RAM is fine for the time being.

The problem is that I have a laptop and don't really know how to change out those, or if it's worth it.
