Crysis 3 dx10 patch?

He's using a non-DX11 video card, or he's using Windows XP (i.e. a 12-year-old operating system), or both. 😛

A quick google search reveals that there may be an unofficial DX10.1 patch floating around, but I would be wary of using such things.
