Is there any working dx10 patch for the game?

I'm not sure what you think a "DirectX 10 patch" would be needed for.

I'm not sure what you think a "DirectX 10 patch" would be needed for.

He's using a non-DX11 video card, or he's using Windows XP (i.e. a 12-year-old operating system), or both.

A quick google search reveals that there may be an unofficial DX10.1 patch floating around, but I would be wary of using such things.
