2) in the Mining program what is accepted and stale mean (in noob terms) or how many accepted turns to 1 bitcoin?

I have a DFI nForce4 SLI Infinity motherboard - am I able to chuck a couple of HD5830s in it and give mining a go?
Sure You might able to rackup a Coin in a week or so
So there's no problem running 2 AMD cards in this SLI board? I gather the idea is _not_ to run multiple cards in SLI/CF when mining, so hopefully all will be good...
You should able to run them in Non/CF Configuration
mmmm... newegg looting....
New difficulty just came out and it's a 1.5% decrease :awe:
Is this the first time it's decreased in recent history? When I first started mining, I thought the first difficulty decrease would be a sign that BTC was about to collapse completely. We'll see!
I am going to be a homeowner today, closing on a condo this afternoon. So I've been kinda out of the whole bitcoin scene last few weeks dealing with the purchase, although I do keep my main miners running. Going to do some cost-benefit analysis after I find out what my electricity rate is at the condo.
was it just the 'bitminer.exe' file? I think that's it anyhow...
I think it gets false positived because of it's inclusion in botnet/stealth mining packages. I'm pretty sure it's a legit file.

It looks like he was physically making his own coins
yeah, the libertarian site just picked the one quote and says its about bitcoins
which in theory as a general statement it could be
but its a real far stretch
So, who wants to take bets as to when bitcoins will go back up over $10 :awe:
bittcoin mining has only ever been profitable for people living in their parents' basements who have free electricity, and can stack 6950s till the air burns.
