If it's hard to build a gaming rig these days, primarily because it's hard / expensive to get a GPU... what if that bottle-neck in the market is removed, there's soon to be a glut of 3000-series, GTX 1660-family, and RX 5600/5700/XT cards on the market... will that lead to an even tighter supply of AMD CPUs, because everybody and their brother can build a gaming rig now?

Or will everyone be so enamored with a maskless summer, that they won't be interested in staying inside anymore?

Crypto is too big of a bubble and too big of a way to skirt capital controls for governments to ignore much longer.

China will likely ban mining soon.

I don't think the CPU supply situation will get worse soon, I think it will continue to get better. Ryzen 5000 series is already becoming more common in stock at decent prices. Even 5950X is occasionally listed at MSRP in the last couple days.

Intel has plenty of Rocket Lake and Comet Lake CPUs to sell you. The only notable SKUs (read: not pentiums/celerons/sketchy i3s) not immediately available are:

11900F
11600
10850K
10400F
