AFAIK thats what they been kept on saying for almost 1.3yrs now. :T

I look at what tony uses. So far he hasnt been using anything that looks like the cryo-z. I think there having more fun with liquid frostbite. (errr am i getting the name mixed up) :T (his chilled h2o rig)

Anyhow the budget phase unit turned out to be a disapointment. A few prototypes was sold then the project was scrapped from what i last heard. Problem with the compressors lead to the issue of the unit failing. :T

Also these units were turned for dualcores. The arrival of the kentsfield B3 even took vapochill by suprise.

😛 Once again another case and cooling question.

It's not scrapped... not yet at least. I guess they are still working a few more kinks out I guess.

There were a bunch of images of it with benchmarks(even with a quad core) in this thread just last month.

Reviewers were supposed to start getting them...

Still waiting on fugger's review but he has one...

Edit:
After going through all the pages their is a preview review posted.

After that i didnt hear any more until this link. Well if its only 299, i'll be grabing one for sure to play with.

:Q Now that's what I'm talking about! I think I might just keep that second rocketfish case in it's box until these come out.

i would wait a little bit

specs say 120W cooling. Meaning a Quad would rape that in a heart beat. However, ryder had one on his 6850 and thats way more then 120W.

So i dont understand whats going on right now about the unit.

Also i heard this unit is very loud. :\

I bet you read a typo somewhere about that 120W, probably supposed to be 120V AC. I doubt it's that loud, probably just as loud as other phase units.
