What would be a nightmare to most ATOT enthusiasts:

You wake up one morning, roll out of bed and head over to the computer (which of course is on all night because it's cracking rc5). Open up IE5 or your browser of choice... Favorites->Off-Topic.

"COOKIE NOT FOUND"

No problem you say... Just have to re-enter your password. Go to the login page, put in your info, press enter...

"INVALID LOGIN INFORMATION"

Now you start to become restless. You check and recheck your password until there's no shadow of a doubt that the info you're putting in is not correct. Ok, last ditch effort. Go to the forgotten password page, type in your email address, hit enter...

"USER ACCOUNT DOES NOT EXIST"

Well whoop-dee-doo. What do you know, it lets me remake my account... Lost my post count. Lost everything I held dear....... Well maybe not. Anywho, I've got a lot of neffing to do. Let this be a lesson to you. If you don't want to lose your account........ then.......... I....... don't....... know...... what......... to.......... tell......... you........
 
Go talk to Zuni in forum issues. I doubt he'll be able to do anything about it, but I believe this was a known problem with the updates to the server. The unknown part was who's accounts would be lost.

Dude, that really sucks. I know I'd be pissed if I lost my account. Hopefully they can restore it for ya..

Highlight his name, you'll see his trick. There's a character after his name on his new account. That's probably the non-space ASCII character, made with ALT-0160. Zuni disabled spaces in usernames a long time ago, so I suspect that's the trick Stefan's pulling on you.
