I assume it's just broken at this point, a short or something. But anyhow, my flash drive (Cruzer Freedom, 1GB) stopped working (this was actually a few months ago, but I didn't need it, so I ignored it). I've tried it on multiple computers, and it just doesn't register. Windows says it can't recognize the device. Is there any way I can fix it?

Not being recognized in a coupla machines is a bad sign.
