There is always hope...especially for a performance version since that is probably the market segment that warms to hatches the most.

That's a nice looking car. They'd be nuts to keep that from the US. The Focus and Fiesta sell well as hatches. Hell, even Caddy has a wagon. Many people want more utility than you can get out of a sedan but don't want an SUV.
