Has some pics of MSI's external GPU adaptor, using ThunderBolt as the interface to the main PC.

This could be the model for the future. Some small PC case, with a ThunderBolt hub, and multiple external ThunderBolt GPUs, or adaptor boxes like this to use PCI-E GPUs.

probably wouldn't be economical for multi-gpu imho... unless they get the external power supplies to be as or more efficient than the internal psu... :|

Could make sense for PrimeGrid - at least for current sieving projects. They really need very little bandwidth.
