My E-350 rig, well, running it for months doing Neurona@home, seems to have been a little too much for the tiny 40mm CPU fan. Running top speed, 24/7, seems to have simply worn it out. Now it makes a lot of noise.

I very much hoper that a replacement of the fan or the HSF-unit will cure the problem and get the rig back to function!

40mm is just horrible. So many RPMs for such little CFM output... Plus, they seem to be made cheaply with craptastic bearings.

I replaced the fan. However, it is no longer on DC duty. Don't want to have to keep replacing fans.
