the wife and I haven't been able to agree on a name for our daughter. give me some ideas, I'm all out! c-section is tomorrow at 11.

You need to narrow it down a little. You can go normal/traditional/classic, or you can go weirdo, or you can go celeb weirdo (Apple, Suri and other idiotic names). What are you interested in?

Please do not give her a good name and then, immediately, shorten it. Friends called the 1st Emily and the 2nd Isabella. Before they were even born, it's Emmie and Izzy. WTH?

Edit: Grats.

Edit2:La-a

(LaDasha....the dash be not silent)

no weird names, no celeb names.
so far she like Madeline, Madelynn, Ava, Emme, Adyson, Madison and Isabelle
I'm ok with Ava, Emme and Adyson but I want more options since she really likes Madeline the best (barf)

Yohan Weinerschnitzel (Pronounce the W like a V)

I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me change our 7yr old boys name to that. He's all for it. Her, not so much.

Imagine that. Balance, we need it.😛

Wife's cousin, last name Lewis, names their kid Houston. Guess what we call him behind his back?

I prefer the more traditional/classical names, like Samantha, Gabriela, Elizabeth, Cassandra, Hannah, Grace, Victoria, etc. Nothing TOO plain though, like Mary, etc.

You can't go wrong with some of the older Greek-based names.
