I'm 19, and I'd like to go on a boat cruise this summer with a few of my buds somewhere in the caribbean, but the cruises are saying that we have to have to be 25 or older. Is there a way around this, or any cruise lines for people under 25? Any knowledge about this would be appreciated.

25? I would have thought it might be 21 but 25? That is awfully strange, but maybe they have had problems with youngsters under 25 in the past causing them to enact these rules. Oh well, thankfully, i'm 28, although I do feel as though i'm becoming an old man far too quickly.

princess? Do they allow under 21's to drink/gamble? And did they require you to be w/someone over 21? Any info would help.

i went on a cruise w/ 13 friends in febuary
it was a blast
the ages were 21 and up
age shouldnt be a problem
book thru a travel agent, they may be able to convince cruise company what nice boys you are
the drinking age was selectively enforced on our ship
16 y/o girls could get drinks
but 20 y/o men would get carded sometimes
go figure...

yeah Iw as researching for a carnival trip to mexico a bunch of friends and I wanted to take. They need a 25 year old per room for insurance purposes (BS in my opinion) whats funny is that if your renting two room, then you need two 25 yr olds, but those 25 year olds could stay in one room. Bleh, and it seems that this is pretty much the same policy with most of the cruise lines nowadays.
