Cruise Voucher

I got something in the mail today: $1600 travel voucher for a cruise. It states the following:

The Official Registered Document for Phillip O Paik, of Los Angeles, Callifornia, is the Fully Registered recipient of the enclosedONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED DOLLAR travel voucher. We are pleased to provide you with this special travel to purchase your family's Spectacular Florida/Tropical Carribean Cruise vacation package. In return, we request that you fill our a one-page survey evaluating your hotel and cruise accomodations at the conclusion of your vacation.


Has anyone tried one of these things yet? Any experiences would be helpful. I am trying to plan a vacation in July....and this comes in the mail today....a sign? or a scam?

Scam, don't do it. If they ask you to pay for ANYTHING, no matter how they explain it too you over the phone, you're going to get ripped off.
 
Well, it does have some big company names on the voucher....carnival, universal studios, ramada, and alamo...


but yeah, I feel like its a scam too.....why would anyone give away $1600???
