Cruddy GeForce3 Performance, help!

Got a new GeForce3 today, the Gladiac 920. As I usually do, I reformatted and re-installed before putting it in. Well, I load up the 3dMark2001 to do some tests, and the results were...ugh. 1521 3dMarks on my system. I KNOW my Radeon did much much better than that. Here's my system specs, any suggestions on what to do would be appreciated. I know the GeForce 3 can't possibly be this bad.

Athlon 900MhZ
256MB PC-133 CAS3
Sound Blaster Live Platinum
ATA-100 30GB HD
Gladiac 920 GeForce 3 (Using the drivers that came with it)
Acer 8x4x32 CDRW
Soyo SY-K7VTA-B mobo (says KT133 + 686B chipsets on box)
Windows 2000

Haw you tried updating to the lastest Detenator?

Try reformatting again and put Win98 on this time. See if that helps.

Win98 blows...I will NEVER go back to that unstable piece of trash.... I got the lastest 4-in-1 for my mobo, and that helped a lot. Gonna see if I can eke out some more with the lastest Detonator from nvidia and the tweak util.
