I looked around the site and found some info but i'm still not sure if they'll replace this.

Had a 256Mb stick of PC2100 go bad the other day, i bought it like 13 months ago, will Crucial replace it for me or am i SOL?

Crucial do that Limited Lifetime Warranty thing I think (or at least I hope for my Crucial DDR Stick)

Warranty is infinite for the 1st owner IIRC

Yep, it's lifetime warranty. As long as it didnt die from being overclocked and you are the original owner, there should be no problems.

Yep, lifetime warranty. 🙂

From the link,
"Lifetime Limited Warranty
Of course, all Crucial RAM upgrades also come with a lifetime limited warranty, so you can feel confident your module will work as it was intended for many years to come."

You don't have to be original owner in my experience.

They're going to ask you some trouble shooting questions liie have you switched dimm slots or tried it in a different machine etc. Just say you did all that and they'll give you and RMA #.

In my experience, Crucial has been great about RMA'ing stuff. Within five minutes I usually have an RMA #.
Yep. Should be no hassle at all.

I've got 7 sticks of 256mb ddr and sdram and another on the way cause I've never had a problem with crucial. I wasn't aware of the origonal owner clause though but glad they dont apply it strictly.

Great stuff.
