I wouldn't trust Kingston at all. Samsung I would trust over Crucial, but Corsair would be best.

I am assuming you meant you can't afford Corsair. Go for what EdipisReks recommended.

Samsung PC2700, DDR333 is TRUE Samsung - I pulled mine out of the system and checked, goes for $ 78 + $ 4 freight = $ 82 total, but OUT OF STOCK.
Crucial PC2700, DDR333 is $ 79.99 & Free Freight - and IN STOCK. Last November this same RAM was almost $ 200 per stick. This is the absolute lowest I have ever seen it.
I wouldn't get Kinston on a bet. Geil and OCZ are a scam.
Corsair is good, but way too high - and doesn't do that much better than Samsung TRUE.

RAM INFORMATION - Check it out.

I just learned that I CAN trust Kingston memory. I bought 2 x 512MB Kingston PC2700 from GoogleGear 2 weeks ago. It is running at DDR350 at the fastest timings my Epox 8K3A+ (KT333) can handle right now. I have run Prime95 for 48 hours straight with no errors. My SiSoft Sandra 2003 memory test shows scores faster than nForce2 with PC3200.

Yeah, don't trust Kingston....

I'm convinced that half these people have little or no hands-on experience with any RAM other than what is in their rigs... Kingston does have decent RAM, and I would wager that my 2 512MB sticks of PC2700 Value RAM would run circles around Crucial or Samsung PC2700.

Far from being a fanboy of any brand, I currently own Kingston Value RAM, Kingston HyperX, Corsair XMS, Twinmos, and Crucial DDR. I have had plenty of Samsung, but personally have not had any OC that well since the CTL. The Samsung DTL sticks were not that great.....

EDIT: To keep on topic, the best bang for the buck RAM IMO is the Twinmos. Here and Here. The Winbond BH-5 chips are excellent. :)

Decisions, decisions. Do I follow the sheep or run with the lemmings?
Everyone has their own experience with RAM products, some find that certain brands appear to play better in their systems than others, including the Premium stuff.
All of the memory that is Spec Certified is supposed to meet and perform to a known minimum level, just how much any particular brand perfroms above that level is
open for discussion, and will have different individual application constraints from system to system.
Just like kids in the neighborhood - some play better together than others.

I have come to trust Crucial, I don't think my Samsung played in my system as well as the Crucial does. It may do better in another system though.

The RAM technology is always advancing, and some manufactures who's product was not performing well 6 - 9 months ago have been able to get a
handle on the manufacturing process and imprive their product output, and have acceptable product out now.

Corsair is good - especially if you plan to overclock, otherwise I'd go with the Crucial.

Woah, that's actually a lot of money...I've just bought myself 1GB (2*512mb) Corsair PC2700 from their website for £105 inc p&p and VAT (17.5%), it was £57 a stick (512mb) cheap :D
If you can get Corsair for that cheap I'd say get it, they're easily the best RAM module manufacturers around at the minute, and with a lifetime warranty :)

Sure... Both sticks of my PC2700 Kingston Value RAM will do 430MHz at the same timings. :) The chips are Winbond BH-6.

EDIT: Actually one of my Value RAM sticks ran fine @ 450MHz / 2-7-3-3 / 2.9V (I forget which stick) when I was running my 1.7 P4M @ 225MHz FSB. From Mikki's Official P4M Database Thread (01-21-03):
I received the 1.7M and am up and running. :) The 1st thing to say is I am happy that the IT7 MAX DOES have a working 33/66 lock. At my current 225MHz FSB (2.7GHz), my PC Geiger is showing an exact 33/66.This is great news for my Radeon 9700 Pro.

I had no issues installing my custom waterblock, and with Prime95 running for over 2 hours, my temps are 40.5C with the voltage @ 1.70. My office temp is 73.6F. It took 1.70v to be stable at 2.7GHz.

I decided to install my 512MB stick of PC2700 Kingston Value RAM with Winbond BH-6 chips to start. I had to raise the voltage to 2.9, but it does not worry me much since Corsair guarantees their XMS RAM with the same chips as the Kingston up to 2.8v. There is no heatspreader, and the chips are cool to the touch. ;) The timings are set @ 2-7-3-3. (I have not tried anything more aggressive yet.)

Oh goody a CAGE MATCH

In this corner with one thousand and ninteen posts the Challenger EdipisReks with a stick of Samsung PC2700 !
(Yea!, Crowd noise of cheering - Way to go, yeah, smack 'em down)
And the Champion with two thousand six hundred and eighty posts - Technonut, with the legendary Kingston Value Max, with Winbond !
(Boo - Hiss, crowd noise for the villian, got to keep it even you know)

O.K. Here are the rules: No bitch slapping, no overclocking below the belt, Tesla Coils for extra voltage are not allowed,
anything you say can and will be held against you - so chose your words wisely unless you want nasty objects pressed against your bodies
Only motherboards with 1GB of memory capacity will be considered, no RAMBUS, no DDR-II, no shirt, no shoes, no service.

Shake hands, go to your corners and come out overclocking. Whoever causes their memory to fail first at outrageously high numbers wins.
(And gets to buy a stick of Crucial to replace it with.)

since you're already RMA'g merchandise you've played that game of working with bad equipment. Considering that ram costs aren't extreme in their differences for the same baseline stuff, perhaps you should be looking more at the particular vendor you'll go with.

I don't mind paying a bit more to deal with vendors that stand behind their merchandise. Bought from Mushkin and when a stick went bad they replaced it w/overnight express before I had even returned the faulty one.

:D just something else to consider.

If you dont plan on overclocking anything, then any of those should be fine....I usually buy crucial, ive ran kingston before w/ no problems.
