I wish they would have gone to someone besides Saphire Tech to do the manufacturing of their boards... while Saphire isnt the worst, their are much more appealing options.
It's interesting they've chosen to go with a Radeon 8500LE board now on the precipice of Radeon 9000 availability.

From what I've heard thus far their boards will only be available through Crucial's website, that's unfortunate. Broader availability may have pushed prices down.

I think over time, Crucial will probably be expanding their Radeon line. ATi has been very OEM friendly of late.

Hahaha.

I like more OEMs coming in, lower prices, though I really do wish they offered it through other ways then there webpage. Anyone know the clock speeds on this thing?

I'd also like to see a Crucial R9700.

Yea baby, they stuck 6ns micron ram on the 8500, maybe they'll go all the way and use some sweet 5ns stuff for the 9700.

Crucial blew this one bad...real bad.

They are using their own memory in this board. Since the fastest memory they have right now is 6ns that is what they use. This board really should be marketed as the LELE and a $50 price tag would be more appropriate.

The next memory they produce will be 5ns so if they decide to create a 9700 with their own memory this is what we will see ;)

It isn't reported that Saphire Tech makes "Built By ATI" card? I think it was from one of many review I read about Radeon 8500. Sorry, I don't have the link to the article.
