Crucial SSD - think i forgot the password

Anyone know of a utility from Crucial that would wipe a HDD(SSD) password? I know on platter disks passwords is stored in a maintenance cylinder, but how is translated to SSD's? I probably won't even be able to perform a perform flash on it if they operate in aa typical manner denying access to read/write anything on the disk without a pw.

If you set a user password, I think that doing a secure erase on the drive will free it up for usage, and wipe the password (along with the data). If you don't care about the data that is already on the drive, then that is what I would do.
