Crucial RAM

I just went to buy another 256MB chip and the price has basicially went up about $15. How come...have we seen the end of cheap ram???
I havn't checked yet...but is all ram now expensive?

Yup...prices are going up. Something to do with RAMBUS and Samsung. There was a long thread that went over this a while back if you are interested. Buy them cheap while you still can!

I'm pretty sure the DDR chips weren't going to be affected by this, only the SDRAM.

Not 100% on that though.

DDR jumped in price also maybe 5-9$ a stick for 256 PC2100 cas2.5
