luck of the draw I guess.
I figured out my problem! It wasnt the memory it was a bad hard drive cable.
Running fine now at 200mhz.

I have run my crucial PC2700 fine at 202 mhz for awhile. @ either 2.5,3,3,11 or 2,5,2,2,11 one of the two hehe sorry it was awhile ago. vdimm was 2.8
The reason I don't have it that high now is cause it was only a 256mb stick. I have another stick of crucial PC2100 that I use to and I run it at 182mhz 2.5,2,2,11 also vdimm 2.8 I guess I could probably get a few more mhz if I relaxed the timings a little bit but I feel that I have gotten much more out of this stick that I bought for like 40 bucks 2 years ago than I should so I let it set there hehe.

Hi JBT:)
I tried the '11' timings but it didn't seem to help the max MHz achieved or SSS scores.

188MHz CAS 2.5-3-3-11
Int 2848
Float 2647

Oh well ,it was worth a try anyway.
I'm wondering if something else other than the RAM is holding me back.........

HEy Assim1 sorry it didn't help you but it is pretty board specific but I was mostly just saying that that the tras seting doesn't need to be real tight to get the best score on nforce 2's notice how the second set oif results with TRAS at 7 was faster than with the 6? I know it is only 1 point lol but none the less it is faster =)
You should see if with 11 on TRAS if either of the other 3 settings are stable with 2 instead mine are but I also run vdimm at 2.8 not sure where you have yours.

I have 2 512MB sticks of Crucial PC2700 running in my Shuttle SFF. I'm running them with timing of 7-3-3-3 @ 210 MHz. No lockups, no issues.... smooth as butter! :)
