Crucial PC2100 - how fast could it go?

i have 512Meg of Crucial PC2100 in a system that I just put an XP1700 that i know runs fine at 200MHz FSB... i have it running prime95 right now at 166Mhz and doing fine... thats half way there from default 133Mhz and where i want to go at 200Mhz... im wondering what you other geeks out there have seen this memory do???

I don't think there are any guarantees or real averages. I remember hearing about some of the older crucial PC2100 doing 225MHz. I havent heard about anyone with new stuff getting anywhere near that high. Goodluck getting to 200MHz.

well, 225MHz... thats good to hear!!! because this is older crucial from my first AMD system which was a Palamino 1800... thanks!

HAHAH welp.. funny because that was my first stop on the way, 166 at 6-5-5-2.5 And as it turns out, it is my last... couldnt get any higher and be stable... couldnt lower the latency to 2.0 either... so, im still happy running a XP1700@1833MHz with 333FSB...
