Windows reports an error on the drive. SMART indicates this:

Unused Reserved NAND Blocks.
The count shows 0. I assume those are in case the drive finds a bad block and assigns an alternate.

I partitioned it and formatted. Then used a utility to clone my boot drive to it.

My concern is the Crucial special software does not see the drive.

I worry that I can trust the drive.

Crucial Executive doesn't see the drive? Maybe uninstall the utility and reinstall it to rule out a software issue.

What does a utility like CrystalDiskInfo show about the drive's health?

Its been awhile but Crucial Executive software did not impress me last I used it, maybe 2-3 years ago? It couldn't find a drive or two either in two different systems yet the drives were working just fine ultimately. THe problem with one I had turned out to be something with the imaging program I was using (Macrium).
